A New 'Leash' on Life!

Macie is a 4.5 month old Maltipoo who was recently adopted by her forever family. Soon after her adoption, Macie was diagnosed with PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) a condition that does not allow blood to flow correctly from the heart to the lungs to be oxygenated.

This condition requires surgery and if left untreated can lead to heart failure. Macie’s owner is a single mom and her family loves her and can’t imagine life without her. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation provided a grant to cover surgery so she could live a long and happy life.
