Phoebe arrived at this rescue just before giving birth to 12 puppies (yes, 12!). Because she had received no veterinary care during her pregnancy, she had several complications that required immediate surgery and rendered her unable to care for her pups for several weeks while she healed. Doodle Dandy Rescue not only needed help to cover her surgery, but also to support the care of newborn pups to ensure they stayed healthy without their mom.
