Tucker
Small Pup, Big Heart
Referred by: Camp Bow Wow WestlakeTucker is a 6 month old Australian Shepherd puppy, who was taken in by FIDO's Companion Rescue Inc. and needed some medical attention.
After an initial exam and blood work, Tucker was suspected to have a liver shunt, which is a condition that causes the liver to be unable to filter toxins normally. Tucker’s condition was not able to be repaired through surgery, but during surgery his non-descended testicle was removed to complete his neuter. Tucker needs a special diet to keep him healthy and happy and he will be small for his breed, but Tucker is otherwise a normal puppy who can now find a forever home that will give him the love he deserves. He’s a happy, active pup who has recovered amazingly well and loves everyone he meets!
Says Michelle Reichlin of FIDO's Companion Rescue Inc, "This is an AMAZING blessing to Tucker and our rescue to have your assistance. I am so grateful for this grant funding."
Big thanks to Camp Bow Wow Westlake for referring Tucker to the Foundation!
